A workshop to provide information and assistance with well registration is scheduled:

• In-person - March 11, 2026 | 2:00-4:00 PM | Cypress Community Church (681 Monterey Salinas Hwy, Salinas, CA)

• January 3, 2026: Notification of Sandbar Management Action The Monterey County Water Resources Agency (“Agency”) is preparing for a facilitated sandbar breach on Sunday, January 4, 2026 to alleviate flooding. All work will be performed in compliance with the terms of the Agency's Third Amended NOA for the Salinas River Sandbar Management Activities and the Salinas River Lagoon and Sandbar Management Low Effect Habitat Conservation Plan. 

• December 12, 2025: Request for Proposal (Strategic Planning Consultant) The Monterey County Water Resources Agency (“Agency”) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants or consultant teams (“Consultant”) to assist with updating the Agency’s existing Strategic Plan.
