The former Reservoir Operations Advisory Committee and Basin Management Advisory Committee have been combined to create the Water Resources Advisory Committee (WRAC).

WRAC Member Application: WRAC is currently accepting applications for committee membership, with a submission deadline of January 30, 2026. Appointments will be made by the Chair of the Board of Directors in February 2026.

The first WRAC meeting is scheduled for February 26, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.

 The WRAC shall consist of up-to fifteen members: a Chair, Vice-Chair, and two other members of the Board of Directors; one representative of a Salinas Valley city; one representative each of the Pressure, East Side, Forebay, and Upper Valley groundwater subareas; one representative from the San Luis Obispo County Public Works Department; one representative from the Monterey County Public Works, Facilities, and Parks Department; one representative from the Nacimiento Regional Water Management Advisory Committee; and three members of the public at large.

Purpose: The Water Resources Advisory Committee (WRAC) reviews the Agency’s operation of the Nacimiento and San Antonio Dams and Reservoirs, the Salinas Valley Water Project, and the resultant effects upon the Salinas Valley Groundwater Basin, including the hydrologic conditions therein.
