Salinas River Discharge Measurement Series
River Series
The Salinas River Discharge Measurement Series (often referred to as River Series ) is a streamflow measurement event that is conducted annually during the dry season. At each event, Water Resources Agency and U.S. Geological Survey staff coordinate to collect discharge measurements at multiple locations along the Salinas River. Changes and historical trends observed between locations are analyzed to provide information about the nature of the groundwater-surface water interaction along the river channel.Monterey County Water Resources Agency
