The Monterey County Sheriff's Office only maintains reports for incidents investigated by this agency.
If your incident occurred within the incorporated limits of a city (for example, the City of Salinas or the City of Monterey), you will need to contact that police department for that city to obtain a copy of the report.
If you are requesting a traffic collision report for a collision that occurred in the unincorporated areas of Monterey County and the collision was investigated by the California Highway Patrol (CHP), please contact the California Highway Patrol directly at 831-770-8000 or visit their office at 960 East Blanco Road, Salinas, CA 93901.
If another law enforcement agency investigated your incident, your request must be submitted directly to that agency.
