The Roads and Bridge Maintenance Operations section is responsible for management, operation, and maintenance of public roads and bridges, storm drains within the public right of way, sanitation district collection, treatment, and disposal facilities, County Service Area urban services, and closed County landfills, all within the unincorporated area of the County.

ADOPT-A-ROADWAY PROGRAM

Established in 1992, the Adopt-A-Roadway Program allows non-political organizations, corporations, groups, and individuals to participate in maintaining and enhancing Monterey County's roadsides.
