 The Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council Subcommittee is presently accepting submissions from individuals who would like to be considered to fill two (2) current vacancies as Nonprofit community-based organization (CBO) Representative. The open submission period is February 20, 2026 – May 20, 2026.  The submission deadline is 5:00 p.m. PST on Wednesday, May 20, 2026

The JJCC Subcommittee established in 2020 under SB823, is a public body that meets at least once a year and assists the Chief Probation Officer in developing the annual Juvenile Justice Realignment Block Grant (JJRBG)  plan describing the facilities, programs, placements, services, supervision and reentry strategies that are needed to provide appropriate rehabilitation and supervision services for the youth realigned from the state’s Division of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) or youth who would have otherwise been eligible for DJJ commitment prior to the legislative changes. The SB 823 JJCC Subcommittee membership is established by Welfare and Institutions Code 1995.

To be considered for membership in the JJCC Subcommittee as a Nonprofit community-based organization (CBO) Representative to fill a vacancy, please complete and submit the application as indicated below during the open submission period.
