MEMORIAL HOLIDAY OBSERVED: On Saturday, May 23, all Monterey County Free Libraries locations, including Seaside, will be closed in honor of Memorial Day. The Administrative Office and Seaside Branch
will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of the holiday.

East Garrison, previously known as Fort Ord, was a historic U.S. Army base that operated from the late 19th century until 1994. It is situated on Reservation Road, between Marina and the Salinas River in Monterey County, California.
