Gonzales Library is moving and will be closed from  November 25-January 9, 2026.  Please join us on January 10, 2026 for the grand opening at our new location at 630 Fifth Street!  Bookmobile services will be provided at Central Park on the following dates during closure from 3-5:30pm:  11/20, 12/04, 12/11, 12/18, and 1/08.  If you need assistance, please call the Soledad Branch at 831-386-6890. Online services are available 24/7.

THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY OBSERVED: All Monterey County Free Libraries locations will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 27 and 28. Monterey County Free Libraries branches will reopen on Saturday, November 29 while the Administrative Office will reopen Monday, December 1. Online services are available 24/7.

Book Mobile services provided at Bradley Elementary School, 65600 Dixie St., from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m every Wednesday.

Branch History

Bradley Branch of Monterey County Free Libraries (MCFL) closed at its current location effective June 16, 2017. The branch will remain closed until a new facility is secured to operate the library. During the closure, the following library service options are available: The bookmobile will be providing services to Bradley every third Tuesday at the Bradley School, 65600 Dixie St., from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.  

Library patrons can have materials sent to their home address through MCFL’s Library-by-Mail program. Please call 831-883-7544 or 800-322-6884 for more information or to request delivery of library materials.
