PRESIDENTS DAY OBSERVED: On Saturday, February 14, all Monterey County Free Libraries locations, including Seaside, will be closed in honor of President's Day.
The Administrative Office and Seaside Branch will be closed on Monday, February 16, in observance of the holiday. All locations will reopen on Tuesday, February 17.

The Veterans Resource Center
The Veterans Resource Centers (VRC) at the King City Branch and Marina Branch Libraries VRCs are dedicated to helping veterans and their families connect with the benefits they have earned through their years of service. Established through a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.

VetNow from Brainfuse offers free, live, online academic and job assistance for veterans transitioning to civilian life. VetNow includes: resume review, job interview coaching, standardized test practice, live academic tutoring, eligible VA benefits and community resources. Live chat service is offered from 1:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. PST daily.
