Monterey County Free Libraries has a Library of Things with a focus on mental wellness and mental health. These “Mental Wellness Kits” and "Mental Health Kits" can be searched in the catalog under “Mental Wellness Kits”, "Mental Health Kits", or “library of things.”

  • You must have an MCFL library card in good standing to borrow from the Library of Things.
  • All items must be returned directly to Library staff during open hours.
  • Most items check out for 21 days and are eligible for holds and renewals if no one else is waiting.
  • Replacement costs may apply if an item is lost or returned broken or missing parts.
