Book Club To Go
Book Club to Go (BC2G) is a program dedicated to encouraging the development and success of book clubs in Monterey County. BC2G bags include ten copies of the book, one set of discussion questions, one set of discussion leader tips, and one sign-out sheet. Bags are checked out for six weeks. BC2G was started in 2008.
Available bags are located at Seaside Branch Library. MCFL cardholders can reserve bags for specific dates up to one year in advance.

BookBrowse will provide you with all you need to know about the books available in Book Club to Go, as well as the entire MCFL collection. Access BookBrowse from home with your MCFL library card.
Reserving, Borrowing, and Returning Bags
Reserve a Bag
MCFL cardholders can request to reserve bags by emailing staff at:611-seaside-ref@countyofmonterey.gov or by filling out the Online Request Form. You can also call Seaside Branch at 831-899-8222. Bags can be reserved up to one year in advance.
Borrow a Bag
Each bag will be checked out on the MCFL library card of the person who reserves it. That person is responsible for the bag and all of it contents. Bags must be checked out as a whole as individual contents cannot be checked out separately. Bags will be checked out for a period of six weeks and may be renewed if no other group has requested it. Please contact staff to renew a bag or to cancel a hold request.
Return a Bag
Please make sure all of the contents are present before returning a bag. Bags checked out at any MCFL branch can be returned at any branch of MCFL, but must be returned to a library staff member during open hours and not placed in the book drop. If your group loses or damages a book you have the option of replacing it with another copy of the book that is the same edition and in good condition or paying the replacement fee for the book ($15). Replacement fees for an entire bag including its contents are $150.
