Project Description:

Combined Development Permit consisting of: 1) a Standard Subdivision Vesting Tentative Map for the subdivision of 344 acres into 17 residential lots ranging in size from 5.13 acres to 23.42 acres on 164 acres with one 180-acre remainder parcel; 2) Use Permit for the removal of approximately 79 coast live oak trees over six inches in diameter for road and driveway construction; 3) Use Permit for development on slopes in excess of 30 percent; 4) Use Permit for the creation of a public water system; 5) grading for net cut and fill of approximately 2,000 cubic yards; and Design Approval. The project is located north of San Benancio Road approximately 0.8 miles east of Highway 68, Salinas (Assessor's Parcel Numbers 416-611-001-000, 416-611-002-000, 416-621-001-000), Toro Area Plan.

  • February 1, 2010: 45 day review period ends

  • December 2009: Recirculated DEIR (Transportation Circulation only ) released for public review

  • December 5, 2008: DEIR review period ends

  • October 2008: DEIR released for public review

  • June 28, 2005: Planning Commission decision appealed to the Board of Supervisors; project remanded back to the Planning Commission for preparation of an EIR

  • January 12, 2005: Planning Commission considered project; directed staff to proceed with preparing an EIR

  • July 24, 2003 to August 22, 2003: circulated Initial Study/MND

  • November 22, 2002: Project deemed complete

  • January 23, 2000: Application
