Inclusionary Housing Waitlist Sign up
Inclusionary, Affordable and Workforce housing units are in critical demand in Monterey County. The County assists with equitable housing provision, managing a Waitlist for inclusionary housing units. Households earning under 120% of the Area Median Income (AMI) are invited to join the Waitlist.
Information required to apply includes household income from all household members, whether from work or any other source, and the total number of persons in the household. You will also need an email address. If you do not have one, computers may be available at your local library to set one up.
Completing an application, English | Spanish will determine if you are eligible to be placed on the Waitlist, based upon your income and number of persons in your household. You will receive a letter stating whether you have been approved or denied for placement on the Waitlist.
Applications must be updated annually to remain active on the Waitlist. Due to high demand for affordable units, it is crucial to keep your application active. To update an application, please email HousingPrograms@countyofmonterey.gov.
