Community Development Project & Program Financing
The Housing and Community Development Department manages grants to support different aspects of community development. During Fiscal Year 2024, HCD managed 8 grants worth $7,861,868. These grants fund activities as diverse as constructing infrastructure in support of affordable housing, rehabilitating public facilities, preparing community plans, and capitalizing a Local Housing Trust Fund to finance affordable housing.

PLHA amount is annual allocation for 5-years. Grant amount shown is for one-year and actual amount changes year-to-year.
Capitalized Operating Reserves for Services is a funding category for supportive housing. The reserves help the program ensure that they can provide the services necessary for tenants to remain independently housed.
