Our adoption process

All adoptions will be done in person, on a first come, first served basis. We are not taking appointments or placing holds.  We are allowing the public in limited numbers after checking in via QR code before you enter the building. When you arrive at the shelter during the adoption hours below, we welcome you to the shelter, ask that no hands in kennels, to help us keep all the animals healthy. Volunteers and staff will happily answer questions and take dogs out for a short visit with interested parties. 

Looking to adopt a dog and have one at home? We will ask you to bring your current dog for a meet and greet with a potential new dog. Please let staff know when it is your turn so that we can assist with this.

Why sanitize so much?

Every time you touch an animal, you collect germs on your hands.  When you then touch another animal, you transfer those germs to the other animal. We are working hard every single day to keep the animal healthy and we need your cooperation on this. If you MUST touch a nose, please sanitize before moving on.

In Person Adoption hours

Tuesday - Saturday 1pm-4pm

Adoption Fees vary by pet type and include the following: 

Spay/Neuter Surgery, FVRCP/DHPP Vaccine, Rabies Vaccine, Microchip and a goodie bag.
Dog licensing fees are not included.

Dog: $328.00 each

Cat: $213.00 each

Rabbit: $101.00 each

Other Animals: $74.00
