Cottage Food Operation Application CLASS A Cottage Food Operation Class A products cannot be sold to retail food facilities, wholesale, or by mail order. Products cannot be sold out of state. Internet sales must be picked up or delivered in person within county.

Mobile Food Written Operational Procedures Form for limited food prep mobile food facilities. Environmental Health shall review and approve the written operational procedures prior to operation. An approved copy shall be kept on the mobile food facility (MFF) at all times when in operation. The following must be completed and returned to this office for approval before a permit is issued.

Veteran Exemption for Food Facility Fees Application (English) and (Spanish) This exemption is in accordance with Section 16102, Business and Professions Code; which allows Every soldier, sailor or marine of the United States who has received an honorable discharge or a release from active duty under honorable conditions from such service may hawk, peddle and vend any goods, wares or merchandise owned by him, except spirituous, malt, vinous or other intoxicating liquor, without payment of any license, tax or fee whatsoever, whether municipal, county or State, and the board of supervisors shall issue to such soldier, sailor or marine, without cost, a license there for.

Food Safety Certification Under the California Health and Safety Code §113947, all food facilities that prepare, handle, or serve unpackaged foods are required to have at least one (1) Certified Food Manager (CFM) or Person in Charge (PIC), either an owner or an employee.
