Electrical Vehicle Resources and Incentives
Monterey county's cumulative sales of light duty zero emission vehicles as of September 2021 was approximately 4,468 and is growing exponentially.
Transportation is the single largest source of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions in California making up about 40% of all emissions as of 2019.
Zero Emission Vehicles makes up only about 1% of all light duty vehicles registered in Monterey County.
Clean Vehicle Assistance Program
The Clean Vehicle Assistance Program provides grants and affordable financing to help income-qualified Californians purchase or lease a new or used hybrid or electric vehicle. Our goal is to make clean vehicles accessible and affordable to all who qualify.
Electrify Your Ride was designed to provide Central Coast Community Energy customers with a "one-stop-shop" process to apply for post purchase incentives for one or more of the following four (4) rebates: Electric vehicle, EV charger, EV readiness, and/ or E-bike.
