At the Laguna Seca Recreation Area, visitors can camp on the surrounding hillsides and enjoy a serene view of the Salinas Valley. Both RV and tent camping are available in a clean, friendly environment. The park is just a short drive from the Monterey Peninsula, Carmel, Carmel Valley, Big Sur and Salinas. In addition to great camping facilities, Laguna Seca Recreation Area is home to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and the premier events of MotoAmerica Superbike Speedfest, Monterey Motorsports Reunion, Monterey Sports Car Championship, Monterey Grand Prix, Trans Am SpeedFest and Ferrari Challenge Series as well as Sea Otter Classic Sports Festival. Laguna Seca Recreation Area also has a Rifle and Pistol Range and the Hospitality Pavilion (Red Bull Energy Center) is available for rent and is a beautiful venue for weddings, retirements, corporate dinners, conferences, etc.
